Note! This is digital download for a crochet pattern (not a finished product).
Add a touch of Scandinavian boho charm to your home with this beautiful and serene five petal flower:
the Wolfbay Wallflower.
The design is inspired by the beauty of macrame flowers and is named after the bay in which I live by; Vargvik. This darling wallflower is also perfect to hang decoratively on a door handle or hook, and will give your room a scandi boho feel in no time.
The written pattern was published in the Pattern Pro Pack issue 72 “Door Decor” of Happily Hooked Magazine and is now available here from us at SistersInStitch as a single downloadable pattern in US Terminology, along with a printer friendly version too.
The finished Wolfbay Wallflower measures 50 cm tall x 10 cm wide.
We have used 1 skein of Lankava yarnhouse Minimop: a dk/light worsted weight/#3 yarn (80% recycled cotton/20 % polyester; 490 m per 700 g skein). It is a loosely twisted cord-like yarn made of upcycled cotton.
Note! You can substitute the yarn with a similar yarn, or choose try out other yarn weights and materials for different sized product.
Other materials needed:
- A 10 mm hook
- A pair of scissors
- A measuring tape
- A larger sized darning needle
- A 20 mm wooden ball with hole
- A steel pet brush (used to roughen up the tall yarn lengths at the bottom
We wish you lots of crochet fun!
